Game rules & how to play
Two ways to play
- Lie mode (Drawful-style): draw a weird prompt, others write fake titles, everyone votes on the real one.
- Guess mode (Pictionary-style): draw a secret word while teammates (or everyone) race to guess it.
Lie mode
- Each round everyone gets a unique weird prompt to draw.
- Non-artists write fake titles; everyone votes on which title is real.
- Artists earn points when people pick the real title; fakers earn points for fooling the room.
Guess mode
- Teams or individual free-for-all — host picks when creating the game.
- The drawer sees a secret word and sketches it live on their phone.
- Teammates (or all other players) type guesses; correct guesses score points and advance to the next word.
- Team mode: most words guessed wins. Individual mode: fastest correct guesses score the most.
Lie mode tips
- Bad drawings are funnier — don’t stress about art skills.
- The real title is mixed in with the fakes; bold lies often win.
- Spectators can watch but cannot draw, title, or vote.
Guess mode tips
- Stick to simple shapes — teammates guess from your sketch, not your art degree.
- Use the eraser and undo if you mess up; speed matters more than polish.
- In team mode, only players on the active team can score guesses during that turn.
