🔥Classic chaos·3+ players

18+ · This game is for adults

Players rate real people by attractiveness, which can get personal and suggestive. Play it with people you know, and skip it entirely if anyone in the room is under 18. Hosts can swap in their own questions to keep things tame.

Smash Marry Kill

The classic party game, upgraded. Three faces land each round — your group assigns smash, marry, and kill. Results get messy.

Smash Marry Kill (also called Kiss Marry Kill) puts three names in front of your group every round — celebrities, friends from a custom list, or names players add live. Unlike shouting answers across the room, FateRound collects everyone’s votes privately and reveals who got smashed, married, and killed together. Upload a celebrity list, enable gender-based rounds, or let joiners fill the poll on the fly.

Game rules & how to play

Objective

  • Each round shows three names — assign one to smash, one to marry, and one to kill.
  • After everyone votes, results reveal who won each category across the group.

Setup

  • The host picks round count, optional timer, and gender-based or names-only mode.
  • Add names by uploading a list, letting players claim from a roster, or join-and-play where joiners enter the poll.

How a round works

  • Three names appear on screen. Each player picks smash, marry, and kill — one name per slot.
  • Votes are private until the host reveals. Leaderboards track most smashed, married, and killed.
  • Repeat until all rounds are done.

Frequently asked questions

How many players do you need for Smash Marry Kill?
Smash Marry Kill works with 3+ players. Create a game on FateRound, share the link or code, and everyone joins from their browser — no sign-up required.
Is Smash Marry Kill free to play online?
Yes. Smash Marry Kill on FateRound is completely free — no download, no payment, and no account needed. Create a game and start playing in under a minute.
Can I play Smash Marry Kill on my phone?
Yes. FateRound runs in any mobile browser. Share the room link in your group chat and everyone can play Smash Marry Kill from their phone or desktop.
What’s the difference between Smash Marry Kill and Smash or Pass?
Smash Marry Kill gives you three names each round and you must assign smash, marry, and kill to each one. Smash or Pass is simpler — two names per round and you only decide smash or pass on each person individually. Both are free on FateRound.
How do you play Smash Marry Kill?
Each round drops three names — celebrities, friends from a list you upload, or names players add in the lobby. Everyone privately assigns one “smash,” one “marry,” and one “kill,” and the reveal shows how the group voted. It’s the classic Kiss Marry Kill, run so votes stay private until the big reveal.
Can I use celebrities or my own list of names?
Yes. Upload a list of celebrities, fictional characters, or your own friends, or let players add names live in the lobby. You control who ends up in the hot seat.
Are the votes anonymous?
Everyone votes privately, so the reveal shows the group’s picks without pinning each vote on a name. That’s what keeps it fun rather than personal.
