    Solve the puzzle

    Fill in numbers on the shared 9×9 grid and lock in a 3×3 block when you're confident.

    Race to the top

    1st correct on a block = 10 pts, 2nd = 6, 3rd = 3, rest = 1. Wrong answer = −3 pts, locked out.

Game rules & how to play

Objective

  • Everyone races to solve the same 9×9 Sudoku puzzle.
  • Score points by being the first to correctly fill in a 3×3 block.
  • The player with the most points when the game ends wins.

How it works

  • The host shares a game code — everyone joins with their name.
  • When the host starts, all players see the same partially-filled 9×9 grid.
  • Fill in the numbers for any 3×3 block in your local view, then tap “Lock in Block” to submit.
  • The server validates your submission instantly against the unique solution.

Scoring

  • 1st correct submission for a block = 10 points.
  • 2nd correct = 6 points.
  • 3rd correct = 3 points.
  • 4th+ correct = 1 point.
  • Wrong submission = −3 points AND permanently locked out of that block.
  • You can still attempt every other block you haven't submitted yet.

Game end

  • The game ends when the host taps “End Game” or the timer runs out.
  • The player with the highest total score wins.
  • Players who didn't ready up for a rematch are excluded from the next game's leaderboard.
