Game rules & how to play
Objective
- Everyone hunts the same grid of scattered letters for the same list of hidden words.
- Words run horizontally, vertically, or diagonally — and on harder puzzles, backwards too.
- First player to find every listed word wins — or the highest score when the timer ends.
How it works
- 1 to 20 players join with their name; the host picks a theme, difficulty, and optional time limit.
- Drag from a word’s first letter to its last to select it. Correct finds lock in your colour and strike off the list.
- Each word found scores 10 points, plus a 5-point speed bonus for finding that word first.
- Stuck? Reveal one of the remaining words — but each reveal costs 10 points.
Tips
- Scan row by row for a word’s first letter, then check all directions from it.
- Finding a word first is worth extra, so keep moving.
- On harder puzzles, don’t forget words can read backwards and diagonally.
