Tic-Tac-Toe on Fate Round follows the classic rules: two players join a room, one is X and the other O, and you take turns placing your mark on the 3x3 grid. First to line up three marks across, down, or diagonally wins. No row for anyone once the grid fills up means a draw.

How it works

    Two players join with their name — the host can join as a player too.

    X and O alternate placing marks on the 3x3 grid.

    Get three in a row

    First to line up three marks wins. A full grid with no winner is a draw.

Game rules & how to play

Objective

  • Be the first to get three of your marks (X or O) in a row — across, down, or diagonally — on the 3x3 grid.
  • If all nine cells fill up with no row of three, the game ends in a draw.

Setup

  • Exactly 2 players join a room. The host can play too.
  • One player is randomly assigned X, the other O. X always goes first.
  • Optional per-turn timer keeps the game moving — if your timer runs out, the turn passes to the other player.

Taking a turn

  • On your turn, tap any empty cell to place your mark there.
  • Turns alternate between X and O until someone wins or the board fills up.

Winning

  • Three matching marks in a row, column, or diagonal wins immediately.
  • Play again resets the board for a quick rematch — marks stay the same.
